WHY THE CHANGE OF VENUE.

Though the Marquee at Kelvingrove Art Gallery provided a good location, it has its limitations and cannot provide the facilities that a modern custom built venue can. We are therefore investing significantly in this change of venue as we seek to match and exceed the expectations of our valued and discerning customers. Here are just a few of the exciting new features that we will be announcing for visitors and exhibitors:

  • Extended exhibition facilities
  • Hospitality area including a Champagne Bar and on-site coffee and catering facilities
  • A Kids Contemporary Creche
  • An extended art storage area
  • An expanded complimentary wrapping area
  • Free exhibitor car parking
  • A first class range of nearby hotels
  • Background music
  • First class exhibitor load-in facilities
  • Educational opportunities and attractions
  • Plentiful visitor car parking
  • First class transport links

The SEC are very keen to host our event and will assist with a range of marketing opportunities that will allow us to tap into their extensive ticketing database which combined with our own marketing and PR campaigns will give a great boost to our launch event at this prestigious venue.

WHY THE CHANGE OF NAME TO REVEAL.

Contemporary art is exciting and dynamic, and we want a name and brand that reflects this as we enter the events new stage of development. Our principles and values at the heart of the event though remain the same. We will continue to offer exhibitors superb value for money, providing a first-class platform to showcase and sell your work to a growing art interested audience. And we will continue to offer our visitors a truly superb range of contemporary art with something for all tastes and budgets in a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

REVEAL – HOW TO GET INVOLVED.

Applications are invited from art galleries, art organisations and professional artists.

REVEAL is a curated event and we will therefore require six samples of work that represent the type of work that you would like to exhibit at the event.

Each are priced on a fully inclusive basis with hanging system (shell scheme only), WIFI, power source, gallery standard lighting, trestle table (not available on a 4 x 1 stand) and chair included. There are no hidden extras.

Also included are :

We are keen to stress though that whilst this is an expansion of the Kelvingrove floor plan it is not our intention to grow the event significantly as one of the main attractions of the event to our customers-and they frequently tell us this- is that we offer a comfortable amount of exhibition stands for our visitors to get round and they are not bewildered by the amount of art available.
